Definition : Brief Description -: The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has undertaken e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project with a view to introduce and strengthen e-Governance in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) across the country and build associated capacities of the PRIs for effective adoption of the e-Governance initiative. Under this project, Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) has been conceptualised .The operational modules includes LGD(Local Government Directory), E-Grampanchayat system will replace manual system to computerized online solution. This web application will help villagers to learn about the various polices, to know about government schemes for villagers, and will update villagers about meetings that going to held in village. It will help to maintain all daily transaction which will take place in grampanchayat. It reduce the burden of staying in the grampanchayat.
