E-Commerce Website Revamp

I need an overhaul for my existing paintball agency website. [login to view URL] The purpose of this site is to sell services online. It is essential to have the following expertise for this job: - Strong web design skills to improve aesthetics and functionality - Experience with e-commerce websites - Understanding of payment integration The main focus will be on selling services. Thus, the freelancer should have experience designing systems for showcasing, selling, and managing online service bookings. Implementing a user-friendly interface for these systems will be key. For the payment integration, I require credit card processing. Experience with integrating secure, efficient, credit card processing systems is expected. Ensuring the security of customer data during transactions is also paramount. The site will not as far as I am aware be able to be a simple Wix or similar system skin. Unless the constraints of such providers have changed. My original site was developed back in 2003 and I believe one of the first comparison sites. I think some of the back end i think is written in C# and PHP but honestly, it's well above my ability. There are certain amounts of automation I require the site to once again complete. You may be able to read the code and find the problems but this is what the site used to be capable of completing. Procedure 1. The customer could search for a site by distance from a chosen postcode. 2. A customer would then choose a date at the selected site and book the event. 2a. The customer would enter payment details and the system would hold payment in escrow or uncaptured until the booking was either confirmed by us in the back end or via a reply to step three. 3. The backend would then generate a text message/email and send the booking details to the selected site as a provisional booking, (The Total Players, Date of Play, etc but not the full details of the customer at this point. 3a The back end at the same point would send a booking acknowledgement (not confirmation) to the customer and advise they would receive a confirmation email and further information once the booking was accepted. 4. The site owner would reply with a simple y or n to confirm via text or click accept or decline on the email. 5. Depending upon the reply the system would if yes, capture and bank the payment. Send emails to both the customer and site with confirmation details (this time including all customer details and contact details to the site. The email side of this system is still working however the text is not. I'm sure you will all be able to advise me of a much-updated version of this, but also it would be nice to know if the original website can be adapted and repaired with some additions. I don't know if it will be easier and more efficient to start again using the old site as a model or possibly rectify some issues and reskin while a more dynamic and modern system is being built. EXISTING WEBSITE 1 If possible reskin asap 2 Our ability to book a client directly in the back end is not possible ATM as the recent change in the payment system does not allow us to complete CNP transactions. I need to be able to take a booking via phone or WhatsApp and reinstate this feature. Being able to charge the card without the confirmation being required with the customer on the line via a bank app. (Is this even possible anymore? as we take bookings while out of the office sometimes and book them in at a later point on the system) 3 I would like to make it as easy as possible for the client to reach us, I phone every business I purchase from except Amazon and eBay. I know that is old fashioned but I like the addition of tone. However, it is very apparent today that text chat is possibly the preferred method. I would like WhatsApp both the call and text feature and any other method you feel is prominent. 4 I would be ecstatic if the winning bid would also have good experience with how to get the best advantage from Google Maps and direct calls. If that can be done amazing the next stage is to if required completely overhall the booking system itself. I want to be able to offer the system as a non-branded version for example [login to view URL] activity booking centre. We would also use this system but client sites and centres can add their own branding, insurance docs and details. If the customer booked directly with them it would include no branding from us, however customers using our site would see ours. I would integrate a system that once confirmed the organiser would receive a link to share with other members of the group (email and WhatsApp) This would allow the player to watch and then fill in a disclaimer before they attend the chosen site booked. Once complete they will receive a QR code via WhatsApp and email to either print or display on the day as their form of ticket. Maybe also offering discounts for prepaid paint and extras. Also logging spending and the ability to generate from a phone NFC payments a full POS app installable to smartphone for the client's staff and the ability to click and collect for the customer. The revenue processing fee must however have the ability for a commission for us and be cheap enough to warrant conversion for the site owners. The site owner on the day will then scan the QR and have these details logged (possibly including the person saying something or waving at a camera for attendance records) Also the ability to record events such as injuries or notes prudent for future reference.
