Develop MX validation for a Gravity Forms form with just one email field.
The project involves:
On this page [login to view URL] is a single email field in a Gravity Forms form.
1) On page load:
a) Disable clicking the submit arrow.
b) De-saturate the color from the submit arrow image ([login to view URL]).
2) WHEN user has not typed a character in 500ms, THEN:
a) Do a DNS MX lookup on the email domain.
b) Show a loading gif (attached) in the right side of the form.
3) IF the user has entered an email with a domain that DOES NOT has an existing MX record, THEN:
a) Replace the loading gif with a red cross icon (attached)
4) IF the user has entered an email with a domain that DOES have an existing MX record, THEN:
a) Replace the loading gif with a green tick (attached)
b) Remove the CSS de-saturation on the submit arrow
b) Enable clicking the submit arrow
Test site provided (WordPress, Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro, all updated)
