Thesis Formatting -- 2

Need help in Master's thesis formatting. The thesis itself is sensitive, looking for someone professional. The following issues have been found in my thesis document which I am finding hard to sort out on my own. Do not need someone to re-write the document. I just the following things done. There are three issues that I am looking at fixing. 1. The spacing of the chapter numbers. Need more spacing from Chapter 1: Introduction to 1.1 Introduction to Harmonic Radar. Same goes for Chapter 2, 3, 4 and [login to view URL] A, 1.1, Appendix B, 1.1, Appendix C, 1.1 and Appendix D, 1.1. 2. Issue with Chapter heading. I need the chapther number to be referenceable in Equations. For example if I want an equation in Chapther 1, it would be 1.1, 1.2 and so on. And for Chapter 2, 2.1, 2.2 and so on and cross reference them in appropriate places. I have no cross referenced but simply put in plain text. 3. Equations themselves. I have used a weird way of formatting the equations. The equations themselves need to referenced at each stage, which happened in a way that I did want to happen. The equation itself is not cross portable between different versions of word. It automatically becomes bold when saved a few times. 4. Convert to PDF and make sure everything is alright. Every time I convert to PDF the document spacings and white spaces go wary. Need help in conversion of document and making sure everything is alright. 5. Proof read document. I have proof read the document but there might be important details that have been missed, please help proof read. 6. Minimization of white spaces in document. There seem to a lot of white spaces in the document which I cannot find a way to reduce. Need help in reducing the white spaces.
