Raspberry Pi based | Warehouse Product Location Platform | Test Project

I will not hire anyone during this project. At this moment I am looking for someone I can re-establish contact with around March, April or May. At this time I am only establishing contacts, and future partners for this project while I do research. When the time comes, we will create a new project here on Freelancer, and I will eventually hire you for my project. Thank you for your interest in my project! I am seeking a professional within Raspberry Pi and Python to help me develop a commercial warehouse tracking system. Here is some of what the project is going to do: - Business employee receives products on a trailer - Business employee scans the barcode of the product, and scans the Beacon with RFID integrated into the barcode scanner. - The system now knows that this beacon is mounted to this product. - When the product is moved into the warehouse, the Anchors on the wall will detect its location, and give away its position on a 3D model of the warehouse. - The system will know that there are fixed places in the warehouse that the products will be put. So when Beacon A12 is closest to position B2, it will display the products location in the B2 spot. The main purpose of this system is to make it easier for the business employees to locate the products when searching for them. To get this job, you should possess the following skills: - Python; the ability to code, and to control units like Bluetooth, WiFi etc - Raspberry Pi; hardware setup, and PCB connections - IPS; Indoor Positioning Systems, as to track Bluetooth Beacons in a warehouse, and determining their position down to 1 meter accuracy - Earlier project experience with Raspberry Pi. - Good English skills - Being a good teacher Should also have the following skills: - Gaining/extracting information through other systems, and using it effectively against the Raspberry Pi system. - Preferably have experience with App coding in Android, Windows, and Linux. - Preferably have experience with extracting information through website log-in, and open websites, like product names, dimension of product packaging etc. I would like to emphasize that I will not hire you to do this job completely. This is my pilot project within Raspberry Pi, and I would like to use this to learn and educate myself on the subject. You will mostly work as a consultant, and a teacher. It is therefore very important that you are well experienced. I am open minded to both set-price and hourly paid labor.
