Add some functintionaly to 95% complete VB app

We had a coder that 95% finished a VB app to view and write info to a sql database. The coder left before finishing up a few of the buttons functionality (ex: save, etc...) The two buttons issues I was referring to originally were: 1) While the app would read the data from the sql tables, clicking the save button would not end up saving the data. 2) There was supposed to be a button that you can choose a name from a drop down list and choose (via a radio button) to either fax him a copy of the file or email it. The radio buttons are all there, but clicking the send button does nothing.
